December 30 Con says he's hot in bed!!Last night Mark and I were watching tv and Connor came out because 'he had a bad dream'. As he was sitting there watching tv cuddled up to me (and telling me 'I love you soooo much mummy') he told us 'Im hot Mummy. Im hot in bed you know.' I made a (stupid) flippant comment about 'well the girls will like that when you're grown up' and Connor replys 'But not the boys'
MARK ALMOST CHOKED ON HIS COFFEE!!!! I replied 'Ah, no, not the boys darl!'
Oh Dear!!!!!!
We off to the beach house now - well soon..... December 29 No bloody Broadband left!I am back to the uncivilised dial-up speed until the 1st of the month, and it's driving me crazy!!
How did we EVER survive at this speed before cable!
Then again, there weren't as many graphics then as there are now, so i guess things would have loaded more quickly.
Anyway, I d/l limewire last month and stupid me forgot that although I only d/l about 5 songs from it, that if I don't turn it off, it is constantly on, and therefore people can upload from my computer - thus - use my broadband. hence the reason I have none left.
Stupid way to learn a lesson but at least I have I guess. CJ is away atm. At a dancing friends for 2 nights, having a lovely time. was sposed to be just one night but I got a phone call this arvo asking if she could stay another night - fine by me! lol!
We are off to Calalla on Saturday, that should be lovely. House is insured now, so feeling safer =lol!
Now Peetie, when we get back, can you organise a time when CJ can have a 'singstar sleepover'? she is asking and asking about it! December 27 I know where I live.........Missy is 2 years and not quite 4 months and this is her version of her address...
"Ate-Zeben, O-Riarn , Livingpool"
Well, SHE knows where she lives!!!!!!!!!! And luckily - WE know where she lives!!!! December 26 12th Man!Just heard the latest one - very funny! Its been so many years and MY GOD he is so funny, still!
May help that it's xmas night and im quie pissy! December 25 Dear SantaDear Santa,
I've been a good mum all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor, sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground. I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years. > > Here are my Christmas wishes: I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze; but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store. I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy. If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music; a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals; and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone. On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mummy" to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power> tools. I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your brother," because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog. If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container. If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely. It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without
demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family. Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is ringing and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back. Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold.
Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet. Yours Always, MUM...! P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa. December 23 2 more sleeps!i got jumped on this morning by 3 children shouting 2 more sleeps! lol
Connor just spilt his porrige all over the floor because he decided to carry it UNDER his arm as he had a golf stick in the other arm. GRRRRR
Ceilidh is in a mood because I dared to ask her to clean the bathroom.
Dee is actually being gorgeous - probably because I haven't actually asked her to do anything she doesn't want to do yet! December 21 Connor's Preschool Concert
Connor with his preschool teachers, Anne and Kylie.
(Kylie has a funny smile because she had just eaten a twistie and was scared she'd have yellow teeth!)
What a rainy wet day it was on Wednesday. But I can't say miserable - it was anything but!
60 little children singing their hearts and souls out, and most of us parents and grandparents and siblings standing outside listening and climbing up on stacks of chairs and tables to see them, because not many adults could fit in with that many kids in their doing the concert!
They still had the rides (well some of them) and the rain had eased a little by then.
Here are a few pix from the day.
![]() Aidan and Connor being burglars in their santa hats - with dee behind them. And Mr Sam looking angelic!
![]() Lovely Santa who told Ceilidh he has made lots of DS's and Darcy he has been busy making lots of Carebears, but wasn't quite sure what Con was talking about when he asked for a Sweeper! LOL! December 20 My Lovely Wifey's and Dancing GirlsI am so lucky to have such wonderful dancing families.
They are soooo lovely. I love teaching my 'wifey's class'. I know now why Anna loved it so much! It is really fun to teach other grown ups and have a laugh with them. We did a secret santa with the grown ups tonight, and as well as doing that I got some lovely gifts from them. Thankyou ladies.
Thankyou girls. Merry Christmas December 19 Freakus Bloody Meakus!I was just looking at my 'statistics' and I noticed that there was a link from a google site - so I clicked on it.
OMG!!! The google site entered was 'juzziebear' and it came up WITH FOUR PAGES of links from me, from ebay, here and yahoo.
Who on earth would be googling juzziebear - how freaky is THAT.
Actually, the person who might be doing it (and if you are lurking out there person - PISS OFF) is the one who just gave me NEGATIVE FEEDBACK on Ebay - Soooo peeved by that - I did NOTHING wrong and when you look at their feedback they have only been a member since Sept this year and already have 3 negs and 10 neutrals!! And the same day they left the neg for me they wrote to me to ask where their item was, even though the money had only gone through 4 days before and I had posted it the day the money after the money came through! Grrrr
So anyway, it could be them 'snooping'. Well snoop all you like MCGREGOR - I may well google you and see what comes up!!!! December 18 Im so tiredmy eyes feel like they're gonna fall out of my head!
Well, I must go and decide what Im gonna wear to the Year 6 formal tonight!
I have a colour in my hair atm to try and cover some of the shocking greys.
Another late one, but on a good note, the docs said that Mark can come home for 24hours tomorrow - so he can come to Connor's preschool xmas party! woohoo! December 17 Yep! My Son Will Be the Next Hugh Jackman!!!After last nights entertaining dancing routine, tonight we had the singing one!
We went out with friends for a Christmas Party at a club. There was a country and western band playing and he was doing the show especially for the kids. It was a great night, good food, good company - and I won a Ham in the raffle! - BONUS!!
Anyway, in one of the breaks Connor went up to Travis (the lead singer) and said 'Its my turn to sing a song' (other kids had sung christmas carols etc - Lachie, our friends little boy sang one of Trav's songs). So Mr 4 year old Give Me a Microphone Got up and sang 'Hey Baby' Getting louder and more confident as the song progressed! He even got to have a turn on Travis' guitar! I got a wee video of it on my phone and I will put it up on youtube. I got some pix also - will stick them up tomorrow - gotta go to bed now. December 16 My Wee Irish Leprechans!!!!Ceilidh and Connor had their first Irish concert together tonight!!
It was Sonja Dean's concert, with Hallorans as the Irish component. Boy stole the show (surprise surprise!) He and Ceilidh did soooo very well! I was very very very very very proud of my little girl. She looked so much more confident then she did last week, and she just seemed to enjoy it so much more.
Connor was delightful. As his teacher said 'Im not sure I would call it dancing, more like 'performing'' and that sums it up to a T!!! He also wona trophy! Only because he kept saying for weeks and weeks 'Im gonna win a trophy, When do I get MY trophy!' So Miss Leanne spoke to me yesterday and asked me if I had a little trophy at home that I could bring in. So I did!! She said 'I usually have 4 trophies to give out tonight, but this year I have 5 because one little dancer has been trying very hard all week because he thought he was getting a trophy tonight, and that is our youngest dancer - Connor Griffith!' And there was this huge cheer!! And Connor bounces up to her and grabs it! Then he proceeds to show everyone on the stage! lol!!!!!! He then showed virtually everyone in the auditorium, once he came off the stage!! Especially Nanna, Poppa, Nannie Beau, Leanne, Jacob, Daddy and I, who all came to watch the 2 gorg Griffos 'strut their stuff!'
Here's some pix! ![]() Connor and Ceilidh being monkeys whilst waiting to dance at the dress rehearsal!
The loving family shot! lol!![]() Very excited to be all dressed up ready to go!!

I am counting down how many sleeps until a) work finishes b) dancing concerts finish c) dancing lessons finish d) xmas parties and carols all finish and e) hubby comes out of hospital. Mark has been re-admitted to St George Hospital Mental Health Unit as he has been feeling very dark these past few weeks. I am very positive about it this time as he is really committed to 'making it work' and has said how he is speaking to the psychs and the strategies they are trying.
The kids have been upset with it, well - the girls have. Connor didnt notice he was missing! LOL! (I think thats cause I haven't been a mess this time, Con only notices things when Im not right) Missy Dee noticed though. First night and she wandered about the house, looked in every room and said 'where's dadda gone?' CJ has been a mess, but then she always is *sigh*
Hopefully all is 'fixed' by xmas - although I know that won't be. More like - hope that all is 'fixing' by xmas! December 11 2 down - 1 to go!!CJs Hallorans concert was last night.
