"Huey," was the reply.

"How's your day been, Huey?"


"Great. Lovely day. Had a ball. Been in and out of puddles all day. What else could a duck want?" said Huey.

"Oh. That's nice," said the bartender. He turned to the second duck, "Hi,
and what's your name?"


"Dewey," came the answer from duck number two.

"So how's your day been, Dewey! ?" he asked..


"Great. Lovely day. I've had a ball too. Been in and out of puddles all day myself. What else could a duck want?"

The bartender turned to the third duck and said, "So, you must be Louie?"

"No," she said, batting her eyelashes.

"My name is Puddles.".

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Became a single mother

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't know if I made any. No doubt I wanted to weigh less this time this year than last year Well I do, although not as little as I did back in June. This year my NYR for weight is to make it to back under 90 and stay there.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, Lorraine to Eliot, Kate to Carter, Cos to Ewan, Karen to Jordan, Katrina to Owen

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Nanna's brother and sister

5. What countries/states did you visit?
Went to New Zealand in March, dont remember much of it though, was in a baaad way. Went to the ACT, I think... Oh, judged in Tassie too (which reminds me, must pay my fees...)

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A happy marriage, less stress and money

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 19th - Day of 'depression discovered, March 26th - Left home, March 30th D-day, May15th - The Gap....

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Staying sane and putting food on the table week after week and paying most bills.

9. What was your biggest failure?
So many of them, can't type them all

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Anxiety and Gallstones

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Phone and valium! lol

Cjs on the way she is trying to handle everything that 2006 has thrust upon her.

Bills and food and MEDICINE

thanked my family and friends  for being there for me (thankyou family and friends)

Wonderful day with relos at mum and dads. It was so nice that it was 'at home'. Kids could play with presents in morning and no driving for an hour to get anywhere!

With Peter Allan (well - Hugh Jackman)

Yeah right! wrong partner here!

Yes, Fiona from work.

Didnt do alot of reading in 2006....

A happy marriage and a happy and content and emotionally stable husband.

Umm - the new P & P, was that 2006??

 Had chinese at home with family. Mark was late home - we now know why.........

A happier healthier family and relationship.

Size 16! lol

Chatting online to 'normal' people, and of course my friends and family!

New IR laws, Global warming and the lack of interest shown by our federal government.

MY Mark - and Casey

Dont know!

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.
That it is going to take a very very long time for Mark to get better, that he has to do it on his own, but I am here for him and he knows it.
